Product Description

2013 Heritage H-525 Old Style Sunburst w/ OHSC

The H525 is now a very popular Heritage model and is played by fine players worldwide. Specs include: 16 inch lower bout width, 24 3/4” scale, 1 11/16th nut width, 20 medium jumbo frets, medium C shape Honduran Mahogany neck, 2 1/4” rim depth, floating Indian Rosewood bridge base (fitted to the top’s arch) , Nashville style tune-o-matic bridge, Lollar vintage style P-90’s, cream color body & neck binding, 17 degree peghead angle, lightweight hollow body with vintage style trapeze tailpiece.

As nice as a stock H-525 is, there is always some room for improvement and this one has had the works. To start, it has a bone nut and PLEK fret job that was performed by renowned luthier Phil Jacoby. The fretwork and playability on this guitar is incredible! The trapeze tailpiece was replaced with an authentic Bigsby B3 tailpiece. The bridge saddles were upgraded with Callaham saddles and the tuners were upgraded with Hipshot locking tuners. The pots and caps were also replaced with Emerson custom parts and the knob layout was reversed providing quicker access to the bridge pickup knobs. This is a $2800 guitar new that has had an additional $700 plus in parts and labor invested in it. It has a beautiful, warm and rich tone and a ton of acoustic volume. The Lollar pickups are a perfect fit for this guitar and sound great for just about any musical style. Whether you play Jazz or Rockabilly this is a smoking guitar! There are a couple small dings on this guitar but overall it is in excellent condition and it includes its original Hardshell Heritage case.
