Featuring a 15″ lower bout, 1 5/8″ depth, and hand-carved solid wood construction, the I-35 is a unique modern tribute to the heritage of the double cutaway semi-hollow electric guitar. The I-35’s design pairs a hollowed out mahogany body with a maple center block for a tonal response that is complex and quick with an “airy” character. The I-35’s carved maple top includes high arches and ample re-curve, allowing the best qualities of the solid wood to shine through in its amplified tone. An instrument that is at home in almost any genre, the Collings I-35 has quickly become one of their most popular electric models.
