Description
1966 Fender Stratocaster Refin w/ OHSC
Here we have a really fun player's grade 1966 Strat. This guitar has been through a lot over the years and is heavily modded but it still has great bones and it would be a great candidate to either rock out just as it is or to overhaul it and return it to original. The body was originally sunburst as you can see in the neck pocket and it has a very small wire route under the guard. The neck feels great and the original tuners still work great. The original frets are quite worn down giving it a fretless wonder sort of feel. The neck also has some overspray on it that was probably done many years ago when the body was refinished. The 3-way switch, middle pickup and pots are original. The bridge, neck and bridge pickup are not original. All of the pickups sound great together. It includes the original hardshell case which is falling apart but the latches still work so it will be shipped in the original case. Repair project? Fun vintage rat rod? your choice but you can't beat a 1966 Fender Strat for a price like this!!
