1967 Fender Coronado II Wildwood w/ HSC

1967 Fender Coronado II Wildwood—a distinctive vintage Fender hollowbody that captures the adventurous spirit of the brand's late-1960s designs. Featuring Fender's eye-catching Wildwood finish, created using specially dyed wood veneers, this Coronado II stands apart from traditional sunburst and solid-color guitars with its unique grain patterns and psychedelic-era styling. The fully hollow, double-cutaway body features dual F-holes and a bolt-on neck, combining an airy acoustic character with the familiar feel of a vintage Fender. A pair of DeArmond-designed single-coil pickups delivers warm, articulate cleans, woody rhythm tones, and a lively bite when pushed into overdrive. Its floating bridge and trapeze-style tailpiece complete the classic hollowbody design, making it a great choice for jazz, blues, vintage rock, and roots-inspired playing. The Coronado II's unusual construction and unmistakable appearance give it particular appeal to collectors and players who appreciate Fender's more unconventional instruments. With its 1967 production year and distinctive Wildwood aesthetic, this guitar is a fascinating piece of Fender history that's equally compelling as a playable vintage instrument. A hardshell case is included for storage and transportation.

This guitar is in excellent condition for its age with a few small dings on the top near the lower edge and two small areas of finish wear and a line of small dings near the center of the back.  All of the cosmetic wear noted is only visible upon closer up inspection and overall this guitar plays and sounds incredible.  It's a real gem of a nearly 60-year old hollowbody and a piece of history! It includes a Coronado bass case which is the correct 60s era. The original owner bought this case with the guitar brand new and never even knew it was the bass case. The case is in good overall shape with some black tape covering some wear. It still holds the guitar just fine.
