1968 Gibson EB2 Bass Cherry w/ OHSC

1968 Gibson EB-2 Bass in Cherry with original hardshell case—a vintage semi-hollow thumper with unmistakable Gibson character. The double-cut hollow body design delivers a deep, woody low end with a warm, blooming response, while the neck-position humbucker provides that classic “mudbucker” fullness that sits perfectly in the mix and a bridge humbucker with a little more bite. Its short-scale feel makes it incredibly comfortable and easy to navigate, giving players a smooth, relaxed playing experience with plenty of vintage vibe. Finished in rich Cherry, it pairs timeless looks with a tone that shines in blues, rock, soul, and roots settings. A true late-’60s piece with both collector appeal and real-world usability. Includes the original hardshell case.  This bass is in good condition with some moderate playwear some expected scratches and dings from use and some general finish checking on the body. It is also missing the strap button at the neck heel and has some holes in the top from the missing bridge cover.  Despite any of these issues, this piece of history plays and sounds great!
