1970s Epiphone FT-145 Texan w/ Chipboard Case
The 1970s Epiphone FT-145 Texan is a vintage-inspired dreadnought with classic Epiphone character, offering the warm, open acoustic response and broken-in feel that make older acoustics so appealing. Known for its comfortable playability and strong midrange presence, the FT-145 Texan delivers a balanced voice that works beautifully for folk, classic rock, singer-songwriter material, and laid-back strumming sessions alike. The natural finish and traditional square-shoulder dreadnought design give it a timeless look that pairs perfectly with its vintage vibe. This era of Texan models has earned a loyal following for their dry, woody tonal character and easygoing feel, making them excellent songwriting companions and dependable players’ guitars. The guitar’s aged aesthetic and naturally matured resonance give it plenty of personality without feeling overly delicate or fussy. Included is a vintage-style chipboard case that completes the old-school presentation and adds to the overall vintage appeal.
This guitar is in good condition with some moiderate to heavy playwear consisting of multiplr dings and scratches on the body, a 1' area on the top treble side where something impacted there (but only into the finish), some scuffing on the top of the headstock, and some other blemishing (see photos).
Features:
- Natural finish
- Square-shoulder dreadnought body style
- Vintage-inspired tonal character
- Comfortable player-focused feel
- Includes chipboard case
