1991 PRS CE 24 Vintage Sunburst (Modern Upgrades) w/ OHSC

1991 PRS CE 24 in Vintage Sunburst—a desirable early example of PRS’s bolt-on platform, combining classic early-’90s PRS aesthetics with the lively response and attack that define the CE series. The Vintage Sunburst finish gives the guitar a timeless look, while the double-cutaway body and 24-fret layout provide comfortable access across the entire fretboard. Its dual-humbucker configuration delivers plenty of tonal range, from clear, articulate cleans to muscular rhythm sounds and sustaining lead tones, while the bolt-on neck construction adds snap and definition to the attack. The PRS tremolo provides smooth, expressive pitch control, making this CE 24 equally capable for blues, rock, fusion, alternative, and session work. As a 1991 instrument, this guitar comes from an early period in PRS history and offers plenty of appeal for players and collectors drawn to vintage-era PRS guitars. This guitar was owned by a friend of the PRS factory for many years. Several years ago that overhauled the whole guitar at the factory. It got new Phase 2 locking tuners, new frets and all new electronics including new-at-the-time HFS and Vintage Bass pickups. It includes the original pickups and electronics with the guitar. The pickups are untested but we assume the originals would still work. Overall this guitar is in very good condition showing the expected play wear on the back of the neck and several minor blemishes on the body.
