2001 Taylor 614ce Acoustic-Electric—a premium Grand Auditorium from an earlier era of Taylor production, offering the balanced response, comfortable playability, and clear articulation that have made the 600 Series a longtime player favorite. This 25 year old Taylor plays incredibly up and down the fretboard. It is in players condition for sure as it was well loved by the original owner. While it does show its age, it is one of the best playing Taylor guitars we have had in a while. This guitar shows a number of dings and scratches and there is some extra finish that was applied to the top between the bridge and soundhole as the guitar started to wear. You cant really see it in our normal photos but you will notice it as you turn the guitar. Wear like this happens as guitars are played but the original owner was careful with humidifying it meticulously and he had it re-fretted a couple of years ago. From a playing perspective, you couldnt ask for more comfort than you get out of this guitar. Super lo action, no buzzing and a perfect setup! If you are considering a new guitar for more money...get this one! Its a dream to play and its about 1/3 the price of a brand new 614ce! This one includes its original Taylor hardshell case.
