2002 Fender Eric Clapton “Blackie” Stratocaster with Original Hardshell Case—a signature model inspired by Eric Clapton’s legendary black Strat and designed to deliver classic Fender feel with an unusually versatile electronics package. The iconic black finish and traditional double-cutaway body give it an instantly recognizable, understated look, while the three single-coil pickups retain the clarity, snap, and expressive response expected from a Stratocaster. Clapton’s active mid-boost circuit allows the guitar to move from sparkling, traditional Strat tones to thicker, more muscular sounds that can push an amp into singing blues and rock overdrive. The comfortable bolt-on neck and familiar Strat layout make it an excellent choice for blues, classic rock, pop, roots, and session work. Built in 2002, this Blackie-style signature model offers plenty of appeal for Clapton fans and players who want expanded tonal range without giving up the fundamental character of a Strat. Includes the original hardshell case for secure storage and transport.  This guitar is in very good to excellent condition with some light surface scratching and some visible blemishing on the bass-side lower bout.
