Sire Marcus Miller P7 5-String Bass in Sunburst—a versatile, performance-ready instrument that combines classic P/J bass styling with the modern features and tonal flexibility Sire is known for. Featuring a traditional double-cutaway body finished in a timeless Sunburst, the P7 delivers familiar looks with the added range and versatility of a five-string configuration. Its P/J pickup arrangement combines a split-coil Precision-style pickup with a Jazz-style bridge pickup, providing everything from deep, punchy low-end to articulate, growling midrange tones. The Marcus Miller Heritage-3 preamp offers extensive tone-shaping capabilities, while active/passive switching gives players the flexibility to move between modern, sculpted sounds and traditional passive bass tones. The comfortable neck and rolled fingerboard edges make the P7 an excellent choice for extended playing sessions, whether you're laying down tight grooves or exploring more technical bass lines. With its extended low-B range and flexible electronics, this bass is equally at home in funk, rock, jazz, gospel, R&B, and contemporary worship settings. Whether you're recording in the studio or holding down the low end onstage, the Sire P7 offers an impressive combination of traditional character and modern versatility.  This bass is in excellent condition with little to no visible playwear, although it does not come with a gig bag or hardshell case.  This is a great player and it sounds fantastic for a very reasonable price!
