Inside, our scalloped V-Class bracing framework dials up more power, longer sustain and improved harmony between notes all the way up the fretboard. Other upgrades include the long-tenon Action Control Neck for unmatched adjustability and resonance, and the new Claria electronics, which feature soundhole-mounted controls and a mid-contour knob that makes it easy to dial in the perfect amplified sound. 

This Special edition features blackheart sassafras back and sides and a Sitka spruce top. The sassafras provides a unique sonic profile blending the dry woody response of mahogany, the tonal separation of maple, and the top-end overtones of rosewood. Scalloped V-Class bracing introduces a scalloped profile that unlocks a warmer low end and richer open-string resonance, while preserving the balance, pitch accuracy and projection that define V-Class.
