Vintage Kramer XL-24 / XL-4 Aluminum Neck Bass Natural w/ OHSC

Kramer XL-24—a distinctive vintage electric bass that showcases the bold styling and unconventional engineering of Kramer's early aluminum-neck era. Featuring Kramer's signature aluminum-neck construction with wood inserts, the XL-24 offers a unique playing feel and a character that stands apart from traditional wooden-neck instruments. Its solidbody design provides a focused foundation for punchy bass lines, articulate melodic passages, and driving rock grooves. The aluminum-neck construction is particularly appealing to players who appreciate a crisp attack, strong note definition, and sustain. With its unmistakable vintage Kramer aesthetic, the XL-24 represents an interesting chapter in the evolution of electric bass design. Whether you're a collector of early Kramer instruments or a bassist searching for something different for the stage or studio, this XL-24 offers plenty of personality and vintage appeal.

This XL-24 is in excellent overall condition for its age. It shows one noticeable finish crack/check near the neck heel which a lot of these have due to their blend of wood and metal materials and the thicker finish they used. Beyond that one flaw, the rest of the bass looks killer and it plays great up and down the neck. This is a very rare model that would certainly set you apart from other bass players. Includes original Kramer hardshell case.
