Vintage Kramer XL-9 Aluminum Neck Bass Natural w/ OHSC

Kramer XL-9—a distinctive vintage four-string electric bass that captures the innovative spirit and bold styling of Kramer's early instrument designs. Part of the brand's classic aluminum-neck era, the XL-9 offers a unique alternative to traditional bass guitars with its unmistakable Kramer character. Its aluminum-neck construction contributes to a distinctive playing feel, articulate attack, and strong sustain, making it an intriguing choice for players who appreciate unconventional instruments. The four-string configuration provides a familiar foundation for everything from punchy rock bass lines to warm, supportive grooves and expressive melodic playing. With its vintage styling and unusual construction, the XL-9 stands out as an interesting piece of Kramer's history and an appealing option for collectors of lesser-seen bass designs. Whether you're adding character to a studio recording or looking for a vintage bass with a personality all its own, the Kramer XL-9 offers a compelling combination of classic functionality and distinctive design.

This bass is in excellent overall condition for its age. It shows some minor dings and surface scratches but overall it has been kept very clean as part of a very large collection. It plays great and it includes its original Kramer hardshell case.
